Cost
to Play:$10 for UTHSC-H Student & Recreation
Members Teams, $15 for Non member & all Other Teams
(must be affiliated with UT/TMC). Fees include scheduling & awards.
The league minimum is 8 teams (4 men’s/4 women’s) and maximum
is 24 Men’s & 8 Women’s teams. All players must be
at least 18 years of age to play.
Tournament Information:
The dodgeball tournament type is either a
single or consolation tournament. Each game
will be the best 2 out of 3 or which team
is ahead @ 25 minutes advances through the
tournament (see rules). Each game starts
with 6 balls at the mid-court line. All players
must sign a waiver before participating in
the tournament. NON REC MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE
A WRIST BAND AT CHECK IN TO BE WORN WHILE
PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY. ALL NON REC
MEMBER
PARTICIPANTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM USING THE
FACILITY, EXCEPT FOR THE COURT GAME
AREA DURING THIS EVENT. Winners receive championship
t-shirts and has a team picture taken for
our Recreation Sports championship wall and
website for all to see as well as bragging
rights!
The dodge ball tournament will run approx.
1-4 days. Games are played on Wednesday and
Thursday
nights from 6:00-9:30pm until the tournament
is completed. A supervisor will be on the
premises to
ensure safety and fair play. All games will
be played at the UT Recreation Center, located
off of
Knight Road near the TMC entrance sign 54.
