The Mobility Program is currently Closed to new participants.
Program Overview
The UTHSC-H Mobility Program has multiple goals to reduce single occupancy
vehicles (SOV) into the Texas Medical Center (TMC). The goals include;
the reduction of individuals commuting alone, the ability to offer alternative
transportation options (METRO and Vanpools), to educate the University
community about alternate transportation services and to take a leadership
role in reforming transportation programs within the TMC.Employee Benefits
In this program the employees of UTHSC-H, who enroll themselves in
this program, will be provided with a monthly Pass from the UTHSC-H for
their chosen mode of transportation. Employees will have multiple benefits
such as convenience of long distance commuting, lower stress, shorter
commuting time (HOV lanes), savings in travel expenses in terms
of fuel, maintenance, parking etc.

Eligibility
The Mobility Program will be limited to Full Time Employees (.80 FTE)
of UTHSC-H located here in Houston and the surrounding areas.
Metro, Van Pool Services, Inc. (VPSI),Enterprise RideShare,
&Woodlands Express
The four forms of transportation supported by the Mobility Program
initially will be METRO, Woodlands Express and Vanpool which
includes VPSI and Enterprose Ride Share. The Metro routes are divided

The Mobility Program is a benefit offered to employees of UTHSC-H.
